ANTCAGE started with a simple frustration: the ant habitats on the market looked great in product photos and failed in practice. Water towers that flooded the nest. Foraging areas too small for a colony that actually grows. Acrylic that scratched and clouded within weeks. Products designed to be bought once and quietly abandoned.
We thought the people who actually keep ants — who maintain colonies, watch behavior, and care what happens in week six — deserved better.
So we build formicaria the way we would want them built: thick, high-transparency acrylic that stays clear. Hydration systems that regulate humidity without drowning the nest. Modular connections, so your setup grows with your colony instead of expiring with it. Every unit is tested before it ships.
Our nests are made for three kinds of people:
